Developing your Personal Leadership Brand

Whether you are an emerging leader looking forward to your future career or someone who found themselves thrown into a position of responsibility, successful business leadership grows from deep self-awareness. This Personal Branding Course will help leaders answer: Who am I and what is my purpose? Why do I lead? What is my leadership vision? And how do all of these questions impact how I lead?

The course will provide guidance to current and future leaders to develop their personal brand: their sense of purpose and their leadership selves, as well as how that shapes them in their career and beyond.

Learning Outcomes
Upon completing this course, students will be able to:
  • Define “personal brand”
  • Articulate the importance of purpose, vision, and values in business leadership
  • Develop their purpose, vision, and values statements
  • Explore how a personal brand assists leadership engagement

Instructors

This course will be team-taught by the team at Haimish, a Colorado-based creative-design and problem-solving studio supporting culture and identity development for brands and companies on a national scale.

Mari Moxley
Mari is the primary visual story-teller and integrator at Haimish. Her strength is creatively moving an idea through the stages of production. She collects and connects seemingly disparate concepts, harmonizing what she learns into story. Her work includes congressional campaigns, suicide prevention efforts with the City of Colorado Springs, mental health awareness projects for the US Air Force, educational campaigns with the DoD and NATO, and documenting breakthroughs in the medical and space fields. Her background in clinical social work and philosophy drives her to seek surprise in conversation and craft film stories that illustrate the inherent value in diverse human perspective.

Jeremy Reeves
Jeremy serves as the primary writer and human strategist at Haimish. He takes clients dreams and aspirations and translates them, poetically and meaningfully, into the tangible purpose, vision, and values that drive motivation and productivity. He has conducted culture development and team-building for small work teams and large departments with organizations like the City of Georgetown, TX, Dell Computers, and The World Trade Center, Denver. Jeremy flourishes on bridging the gap between human understanding, team alignment, and business perspective.

Martin Drexler
Brought up in Munich, Germany and educated in London, England, Martin serves as Design Director and Ideator at Haimish. He has worked in Design Lead roles for various agencies across Europe and has worked as a freelancer for clients such as BMW, Red Bull, CEPRES, and Peak Performance. His resume includes over 25 international Design Awards, including the prestigious German Brand Award in Gold, D&AD Gold, Internet World Business Award (x2), Private Equity Wire Award (x3), Best of eCommerce in multiple categories, as well as multiple Golds and Awards in UI / UX Design.
