Coaching 3: Strategies for Effective Teams

Ready to take your team from good to great? Great teams collaborate, innovate, handle internal conflict, and emerge stronger and more productive. As a manager, you understand this, and yet, may struggle to move your team into a higher mode of operation. Gain the coaching skills needed to enhance team connection and foster deeper collaboration.

In this course, you’ll learn how to apply coaching strategies to a team environment in ways that promote collective buy-in, improve team resilience, and foster creativity and innovation. Research-backed methods that support team effectiveness will be shared, along with case studies to demonstrate how to implement these strategies. Challenges around behavior norms, clear expectations, delegated roles, and psychological safety will also be addressed as you examine how a coaching framework enhances collective participation.

The course concludes with the creation of an individual team management plan to implement when you return to work.

Instructor
Maureen Breeze
, founder and principal of Cultivage, has over 25 years of experience working in senior level management, creative industries, and talent development. She’s presented on the topics of leadership, coaching, emotional/social intelligence, and innovation and has also conducted personalized trainings. Maureen has trained faculty, staff, and administrators at higher education institutions across the U.S. and in China, and has facilitated leadership development programs for numerous manufacturing companies and non-profit organizations. She is a certified executive coach through the International Coaching Federation and is licensed to train teams using the ISEI’s Social and Emotional Intelligence Profile and Myers Briggs Type Indicator assessment. Maureen draws heavily from her work in business, education, and the arts to help individuals and organizations innovate, cultivate talent, and navigate pathways for success.
