Animals and Human Health (AHH): The AHH program is the Institute for Human-Animal Connection's original professional development program and has been offered for over 13 years. It is the perfect program for professionals who seek to incorporate animals into their work, no matter your career field or location. It consists of three online courses taken in succession, followed by a two-day Capstone session on campus at University of Denver. On average our students should plan on spending 10 – 12 hours per week on coursework. Many of our students go on to practice in the field of animal-assisted interventions upon completion of the AHH program.  The courses are designed to give you the tools to design a program of your own, with all the proper considerations and feedback from professionals already practicing in the field. If you are interested in this program, please contact Arielle Giddens at arielle.giddens@du.edu.
