EXHIBIT: Indigenous Futurisms opening reception

Join the University of Denver Museum of Anthropology to celebrate the opening of Indigenous Futurisms, featuring new artwork by Kristina M. Bad Hand and Elizabeth LaPensée that explores the intersection between pop culture and Native life. Through art, including comic books and video games, the artists re-envision future and contemporary cultural realities and indigenous perspectives.

Both artists will give a gallery talk at 6 pm. Free and open to the public. The exhibit is part of the 15th Indigenous Film and Arts Festival and will be open October 5 thru November 16.
