Harper Lecture with Nigel Poor

The annual Harper Distinguished Speaker Series brings to Denver a prominent leader from a liberal arts field. This year's guest presenter is Nigel Poor, visual artist, professor, co-founder of the San Quentin Prison Report Radio Project, and co-host of the hit podcast "Ear Hustle." 

Poor will give an on-stage interview with Sarah Gjertson, associate professor of art, that may cover such topics as the ethical considerations of collaborating with underserved communities, the ways people make a mark and leave behind evidence of their existence, and working within and through the American prison system.
