Holistic Engaged Learning: The Harmonious Blend of Native American Culture & Scientific Method - Lunch and Learn

November 8

12:00pm - 1:00pm

Engineering & Computer Science, Room 510, Event Space

Join us in celebrating Native American Heritage Month with guest speaker, MRutheyi Thompson. MRutheyi has always lived her life with one foot in her traditional world and one foot in the Anglo/modern world. Through challenges and moments of crisis of identity, she finally found her own path to Walk In Beauty, her N’dèe Hózhó. Bringing together Native and Anglo systems of belief and learning, she now encourages Holistic Engaged Learning; where the teachings and knowledge of native cultures are incorporated and pursued in harmony with the modern scientific method.
