On select Fridays, KIHA offers Tai Chi Chuan, a gentle relaxing mind-body exercise that promotes health and longevity to millions around the world. The instructor is Jean Gan, who teaches in communities throughout Metro Denver. Jean is a physical therapist who has taught Tai Chi for the past seven years. She is certified to teach by the Tai Chi for Health Institute and teaches Yang and Sun styles of Tai Chi. She has experience working with all ages, with an extensive background in geriatrics. Jean is convinced that tai chi is a huge benefit to healthy aging!

Join KIHA for slow gentle movements, mindfulness, fall prevention, and deep relaxation for better health and peace of mind. Beginners will find a warm and welcoming atmosphere and a class that can adapt to everyone’s physical abilities. More advanced students will find an emphasis on the bedrock 10 Tai Chi principles, such as circular motion and coordinating the upper and lower body, via a practical down-to-earth style.

Drop by to learn and practice. Any comfortable clothing is suitable. Everyone is welcome.
