Law: A Contemporary Meaning of the Holocaust

Audience: Current Student

Holocaust survivor Eric Cahn,  Denver Law Prof. Don Smith, and lawyer Rachael Kamlet will discuss how U.S. law has influenced Nazi codes and regulations, thus enabling the Holocaust. Mr. Cahn will offer personal reflections on his lived experienced and all will discuss past and present fascism, the rise of hate crimes, and lawyers’ professional responsibility to uphold the best values of the American legal system in the current moment. This session will be held over Zoom- register here, register here. 

Students will be able to sign in, if they so choose, as representatives of a particular student organization. The two student organizations with the greatest number of members attending DEI sponsored events in fall 2021 will win a gift card for lunch/dinner off campus.
