Background:

Filmmaker Christopher Beeson began following Hog Haven Farm in late 2019 after meeting Katniss Eversqueal, one of their therapy pigs, at a public event. In the months following, he and the founders of Hog Haven - Erin and Andrew - became partners in making this film.

Erin’s story is one of a life-changing accident that completely altered the shape of her life, eventually bringing together a whole community to support her mission of animal rescue, rehabilitation, and shelter.

‘Hog Haven’ follows Erin and Andrew - and a whole lot of pigs -  through several seasons, documenting their challenges and successes.
