Title: Race, Politics, & Mass Incarceration. This talk features John Mathews, Senior Legal Counsel and Director of Community Engagement at Justice Collaborative. Mathews will lean on his current work, which focuses on ending the dehumanization that has criminalized extreme vulnerability and created an incarceration crisis, as well as  his former experience as an Assistant United States Attorney in Puerto Rico. Mathews is teaching at Denver Law as part of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Practitioner Teaching Fellow Initiative.
