Why Race Matters in the Workplace

May 14

6:00pm - 8:00pm

Why Race Matters in the Workplace (WRMITW) is a signature event presented by Daniels Undergraduate Programs, and is sponsored this year by Enterprise Holdings and PetSmart. Now set to enter its 3rd year, this event is designed to provide a safe, educational, and meaningful space to foster dialogue between Daniels’ students, alumni, and panelists surrounding issues of race in the workplace. Professional development is a key aspect, as students are exposed to the panelists’ stories and reflections regarding their own experiences navigating college, the job market, and employment. A formal dinner will be provided during the panel, and students will have the opportunity to network with corporate partners, Daniels alumni, and panelists afterwards.
