Unless otherwise specified by the donor, most scholarships will be split evenly over fall, winter and spring quarters (or fall and spring semesters if you're a law student). Is this scholarship for the entire year? Or for one term only?

 

Do you need enrollment verification sent to your scholarship provider?

To request Enrollment Verification:

  1. Log into PioneerWeb.
  2. Go to the myWeb tab.
  3. Expand the myWeb menu in the "Banner Self Service" box.
  4. Navigate to Student -> Student Records -> Request Enrollment Verification

Within one to two days after the request is processed, you will receive an email with the verification document attached. Forward that document to the requesting party.

Please note: If you need a verification sent to an outside provider, please complete a Confidential Student Record Information Release. This will allow us to share the appropriate information to your scholarship vendor. Complete this form by clicking on the "Release of Student Records" link on the Student tab of PioneerWeb.

Do you need the University of Denver to bill your scholarship provider?

To print a copy of your bill:

  1. Log into PioneerWeb.
  2. Go to the Student tab.
  3. Click on the "DUPay: Payments, Statements, Account Detail" link in the My Statement/Payment box. This will take you to the DUPay portal.
  4. Select the latest bill from the "Statements" section. 

The University of Denver also offers a Third Party Direct option. Under this option, the Bursar's Office bills a third party directly for charges on your account. For more information, please contact the Bursar's Office at 303-871-4944 or at bursar@du.edu.


Do you have any questions or comments for Financial Aid about this scholarship?

Your financial aid eligibility is limited by the cost of attendance and your expected family contribution. Therefore, if you receive additional aid (such as a grant, scholarship, or tuition benefit) from outside the University of Denver, we may have to adjust your financial aid award package. We will first reduce student loans, then work-study, before reducing any DU scholarships or grants. In some cases, however, additional outside awards that must pay toward tuition charges may result in the reduction of a DU scholarship or grant that is also restricted to tuition. We will notify you if any change is necessary.
