Kristine Cecil
Associate Vice Chancellor
University Advancement

Kristine Cecil joined the University of Denver in June 2011, bringing extensive expertise in organizational leadership and fundraising, including four comprehensive campaigns. She oversees Alumni Relations and two of the University's core fundraising units, annual giving and parent and family giving, in addition to working with some of the University's most generous donors. She also plays a key role in division-wide strategic planning.

Along with Scott Lumpkin, Vice Chancellor and Mike McCall, the other Associate Vice Chancellor for Advancement, Cecil works with the Chancellor and Board of Trustees to advance the priorities of the University.

Prior to joining DU, Cecil served as Vice President for External Relations at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, and had responsibility for development, alumni relations, and communications. In that position, she successfully led a six-year, $300 million comprehensive campaign. Cecil also served as Director of Development for the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Carleton College.
