Top Priorities

We hope you will make the University of Denver one of your top philanthropic priorities. All gifts, regardless of amount, make a direct and immediate impact on today's DU students.

While you are welcome to support any area of the university that is meaningful to you, please consider the following opportunities, which are popular with DU parents and represent some of the top campus priorities.

The Chancellor's Innovation Fund is personally directed by Chancellor Rebecca Chopp, who applies gifts toward pilot programs, growth opportunities and emerging needs.

The Career Center Fund is put to work through innovative programs and services that prepare DU students for careers of purpose. From Lunch and Learn events with alumni in specific fields, to awards for unpaid internships, the Career Center Fund helps us reach our goal of 100% student body participation in career programs annually.

The Student Emergency Fund provides limited emergency financial assistance to currently enrolled University of Denver students who are unable to meet immediate, essential expenses because of temporary hardship related to an unexpected situation. The fund is designated to off-set a short-term financial need.

Dean's Funds are managed within our individual academic colleges and schools. Each Dean has a variety of initiatives that can launch with the support of many donors together. Whether your student is exploring options through the common curriculum or a graduating senior, gifts to Dean's funds enhance the academic experience for all.

If you prefer, you may also direct your support toward a specific academic program, student life initiative, club, or athletic program. Either way, your gift—together with those of other parents and family members—makes a substantial impact on the University.
