Foundation Relations

Supporting the University of Denver gives foundations the opportunity to invest in our activities that make an impact throughout Denver, Colorado, the country, and the world. Over the years, we have enjoyed strong partnerships with many foundations resulting in very impactful outcomes.

We provide expertise in all aspects of DU's research and service activities, as well as knowledge of institutional need for scholarships, and capital support. Foundation Relations at the University of Denver exists to help each foundation meet their philanthropic goals while facilitating innovative research, learning, and community partnerships.

Faculty Assistance

Located within the Office of University Advancement, Foundation Relations is happy to help with faculty funding needs. With a wide range of relationships across the foundation community, we are poised to work with you – along with the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) – to help you successfully reach your funding goals. Please refer to the information on this site for step-by-step information about how to approach foundations and apply for funding.

Coordination and Stewardship

Foundation Relations maintains an ongoing dialogue with key foundation partners and other organizational donors, disseminating essential information about programs across campus and beyond.

Community Impact

As a private university dedicated to the public good, the University of Denver views its impact on the community –and the world- as a top priority. From hosting a 2012 Presidential Debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, to using robots to support the social skills of kids with autism, to helping inmates train service dogs and gain their own work skills in the process, DU's commitment to the public good is evident and continues to grow.
