About Us

The University of Denver Health and Counseling Center is an integrated health and counseling center that is designed to meet our students needs while providing quality health care services.

The HCC is every eligible student's home for health and well-being during their time at the University of Denver. We are committed to care of body and mind to help students succeed in college and life. For more information on eligibility, please see here

The HCC is staffed by:

  • Other trained professionals

All University of Denver students, part-time or full-time, undergraduate or graduate, have access to our wide range of services, regardless of their insurance plan. Learn more about our services:

The HCC has two locations to help accommodate our growing team. HCC-Ritchie serves as our main location and it houses our medical team, psychiatry, and part of our counseling team. 

HCC-Asbury houses the majority of our counseling team, Health Promotion, CAPE, as well as our growing Collegiate Recovery team. 

HCC Hours 

Monday – 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Tuesday – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Wednesday – 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
Thursday – 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
Friday – 8:00 – 5:00 pm

Parking and Transportation


Free patient and client parking is available onsite at the DU Health and Counseling Center during your appointment only in dedicated spaces on the north side of the Ritchie Center.

Additional permitted spaces and metered parking is available in the adjacent alley at our HCC-Asbury location.

Alternative Transportation

  • Walking: Located on the northeast corner of campus, the DU Health and Counseling Center is roughly a 15-minute walk from the Anderson Academic Commons.
