Counseling Services Welcome

Welcome to Counseling Services at the University of Denver Health and Counseling Center (HCC). Whether you are a new student or have been at the University for a while, we want to welcome you and let you know that we are here to support your academic success. If you are experiencing a situational problem, a crisis or have long-standing mental health concerns, we are here to help. Our professional staff includes licensed psychologists and licensed social workers, as well as supervised graduate student staff from both of these disciplines.

Counseling Services is here to support your transition to DU and through other transitions in your life, as well as to support your development and growth. Our services are all confidential and no information is released to anyone without your written consent except in the case of a life-threatening emergency, or when it is otherwise required by law. Please browse through this section of the HCC website to learn about the counseling services we offer. If you would like to initiate counseling services, you may drop in to our same-day access services (without any scheduled appointment) between 2-3 pm, M-F; call us at 303-871-2205; or schedule an initial consultation online at MyHealth.

Counseling services at the Health and Counseling Center are offered to undergraduate and graduate students.

Students can benefit from different types of therapy, ranging from individual counseling to group counseling with licensed professionals.

Graduate and doctoral students can also gain valuable experience by working closely with staff members through training and professional development programs.
