Coverage Abroad - Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP)

Medical charges for covered services incurred in a country outside the United States are reimbursed by the SHIP at 80 percent of the actual rate billed by the service providers. All other Plan provisions, including plan deductibles, apply.

Medical Services through FrontierMEDEX

FrontierMEDEX includes Emergency Medical Evacuation and Return of Mortal Remains
that meet the US State Department requirements. The Emergency Medical Evacuation services are not meant to be used in lieu of or replace local emergency services such as an ambulance requested through emergency 911 telephone assistance. All services must be arranged and provided by FrontierMEDEX; any services not arranged by FrontierMEDEX will not be considered for payment.
