NEWS & UPCOMING EVENTS

Intervene: DU workshop badgeINTERVENE REQUIREMENT FOR NEW & FIRST YEAR STUDENTS

Have you signed up for Intervene: DU? In the 2020-2021 academic year, new undergraduate students have until Friday, February 5th to attend this active bystander skills workshop. If a student does not complete the requirement by February 5th, a hold will be placed on their account, which will prevent them from registering for Spring 2020 courses.

This Fall Quarter, all workshops will be held virtually via Zoom. Visit the Health Promotion page in Crimson Connect (https://crimsonconnect.du.edu/hcchp/home/) to sign up!

RSO Workshop BadgeRSO ONGOING HARM PREVENTION WORKSHOP REQUIREMENT

In order to receive funding, a Registered Student Organization (RSO) must annually select a workshop from one of four harm prevention content areas and ensure that their organization leadership as well as 75% (or more) of their membership completes that program.

The workshops cover specific content areas: alcohol use, mental health, diversity and inclusion, and gender-based violence. Request a training here (http://cglink.me/s30901). You will have until the Spring Quarter recertification process to request, complete, and track attendance of the program.
