    Remote Days & Flexible Work Schedules

    HRE supports flexible work options, including remote days and hybrid schedules, in accordance with the policy outlined by DU and adopted by the Division of Student Affairs & Inclusive Excellence. Full-time, non-administrative staff receive one remote day per week during the academic year. During extended University holidays, full-time, non-administrative staff receive two remote days, and administrative staff receive one.

    DU proudly offers a comprehensive benefits package to employees who hold an appointed position that is at least 20 hours per week. Program Coordinator for Residential Education

Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Residential Experiences, the Program Coordinator for Residential Education plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of Residential Education activities by providing programmatic, event, and administrative support. The Program Coordinator will support the essential responsibilities for Residential Education, including student education & engagement, recruitment, and hiring. This position assists in implementing HRE’s Residential Education Model (REM) by helping plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale programming. Administrative responsibilities include but are not limited to managing room reservations, coordinating resource allocations, placing catering orders, coordinating interview schedules, and formal employment processes for student staff.

Resident Director

Reporting directly to an Assistant Director, Community Director, or Associate Director for Residential Experiences, the Resident Director (RD) assumes leadership of their assigned areas, directly or indirectly supervising, training, and evaluating a team comprising 1-2 Graduate Resident Directors and 10-24 student staff. The RD is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of their residential community, implementing HRE's Residential Education Model (REM), and nurturing a vibrant social environment that cultivates a sense of belonging, well-being, and safety among residents for their assigned residential community. This position is a fractional (0.93FTE), 11-month, live-in role. Housing accommodations are provided, including weeks where this position may not perform job responsibilities.

Community Director

Reporting directly to the Associate Director for Residential Experiences and indirectly to the Director of Residential Operations, the Community Director (CD) assumes leadership of their assigned areas, directly supervising, training, and evaluating a team comprising a Resident Director, Graduate Resident Director, and indirectly supervising approximately 17 student staff. The CD is responsible for guiding the implementation of HRE's Residential Education Model (REM), fostering student leadership opportunities, supporting housing operations, and nurturing a vibrant social environment that cultivates a sense of belonging, well-being, and safety among residents.
