About Us

The people of DU — faculty, staff, and administrators — are the heart of our University. The Department of Human Resources & Inclusive Community (HRIC) is here to support you in your employment and work at the University of Denver. We can answer your questions about employment, benefits, professional development, and more, or we can point you in the right direction to find the answers you need.

HRIC strives to foster a community of inclusive excellence by providing strategic leadership and service of the highest quality. Through our commitment to professionalism and integrity, we demonstrate respect for individual needs and interests, as well as personal differences, affording both courtesy and dignity to all with whom we work to carry out our mission.

HR Connect

In conjunction with our Shared Services partner, HRIC hosts quarterly HR Connect meetings for business officers and HR contacts from around campus. Our goal is to provide updates on policies, procedures, and other information that impacts those who support HRIC and Shared Services functions. We request that those in attendance share the information learned as widely as possible.

Labor Law Poster Compliance

In order to ensure compliance with various statutes and regulations, we have requested that units across the DU campus post federal, state, and local labor law notices in their buildings.

  • Notices should be posted in conspicuous areas such as entry ways, break rooms, lounges, etc.
  • Notices in both English and Spanish are required to be posted in all areas of the University.
  • HRIC will notify you when updated posters are received throughout the year.
  • Hard copy notices are required to be posted, but we do have an electronic listing available for visitors to our website, applicants, and employee reference.

Please contact HR Partners for a set of posters for your building.
