Internationalization Summit

Internationalization Summit at the University of Denver

9-13 April 2018

"What's with a border? Inter/national engagement in a troubled world"

Why attend the Internationalization Summit?

The Summit provides participants an opportunity to meet members of the DU community as well as attendees from regional universities and DU's strategic and target strategic partners. This is the first year that we are inviting our international partners to participate, and we hope that the Summit will give everyone an opportunity to explore issues and questions in internationalization and higher education. The Summit will provide the ideal venue to develop the relationships you have with the University of Denver as well as with the other universities that will be represented at the Summit.

While the Internationalization Summit takes place on Friday, April 13, the University of Denver has a number of events scheduled throughout the week for visiting partners (see the schedule of events below). There is also the opportunity to simultaneously participate in the Cultures & Languages Across the Curriculum (CLAC) Consortium Conference, which the University of Denver is also hosting contemporaneously with the Internationalization Summit. Both events are coordinated events, and you are encouraged to participate in the CLAC Conference, which will run from Thursday, April 12 through Saturday, April 14, 2018. This year’s CLAC Conference theme is “Providing Access: Inclusivity in Internationalization through CLAC.” The call for proposals is open for anyone who would like to submit.
