National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)

NSSE is a widely-used national survey that collects information about first-year and senior students' participation in programs and activities that institutions provide for their learning and professional support. The survey addresses four key engagement indicators:

  • Academic challenge
  • Learning with peers
  • Experiences with faculty
  • Campus engagement
