I am a native Texan and currently pursuing my MA in International Development. I am also completing my certification in International Law and Human Rights. I completed my undergraduate degree in 2014 with a BA in International Studies at Baylor University in Waco, TX. During my time at Baylor I had the opportunity to complete two study abroad experiences, in The Netherlands and Argentina. After graduation, I served as an AmeriCorps VISTA working with First Generation College students in the Waco community, to eliminate college matriculation barriers.

Along with International Development I am a Masters International student and will serve in the Peace Corps to complete my program's internship and language requirement. I will be heading off to Kosovo this June to do so. I am focusing on post-conflict development, and law and migration. One of my main reasons for choosing Korbel was its interdisciplinary approach as well as being able to mold the program into what I wanted. The wide array of course offerings have allowed me to pursue several interests. Korbel's wonderful reputation and the emphases it placed on hard skills were also big contributing factors.
