Winter Interterm: Denver Dynamics

Need a few extra credits over winter break? Or just want to have an amazing experience in your own city? Dr. Lapo Salucci will be leading a one-week class in Denver learning about how policy really happens in our great city.

Students will have the opportunity to meet with several city leaders including:

IPPS Welcomes James Arundel as Senior Fellow

James Arundel

The Institute would like to formally welcome James Arundel as Senior Fellow. Jim has served for many years as an advisory, guest speaker and adjunct faculty member at the Institute for Public Policy Studies. Jim has been a partner in the Denver office of Kutak Rock LLP, focusing his practice on transactional, financial and restructuring matters in representing corporate finance and public finance clientele. 

Jim brings his expertise in law and finance along with his passion for policy and teaching to our students in classes such as "Decision Making in Public Policy" and as a panelist on Great Issue Forums. Jim is excited to be more formally joining the teaching staff at IPPS and is looking forward to mentoring and advising students. 

News - Fellows Selected for Marshall Fellowship

German Marshall FundThe Institute for Public Policy Studies at the University of Denver, as the regional coordinator for the Marshall Fellowship, is pleased to announce the following Rocky Mountain regional leaders as Fellows for the 2013 Marshall Fellowship:

  • Councilman Albus Brooks, Denver City Council District 8
  • Major Thomas Heier, US Air Force
  • Dr. Janet Lopez, Rose Community Foundation 
  • Leslie Oliver, Policy Director for Congressman Ed Perlmutter
