Starbucks’ Howard Schultz, Oracle’s Mark Hurd, IBM’s Sam Palmisano, as well as billionaires like Warren Buffett and Mark Cuban all started in sales. Even if you choose a different career, sales skills are extremely valuable in helping you advance your career and sell yourself and your ideas.
The Daniels College of Business offers a minor in sales leadership to help you build the skills that will help you become an influencer and a leader. Organizations are looking for students with sales education because they ramp up faster, enjoy their work more, and play a key role in the success of the business.
