Small Practice Management

The Small Practice Management Certificate within the Legal Administration Program at the Sturm College of Law provides attorneys with the necessary knowledge and business skills to open and operate a legal practice. It is available to those currently holding a JD or a foreign equivalent law degree.

The 16 semester-credit hour program can be completed in one year. Our program guides students through client service and relationship management, trust accounts, accounting processes, law practices administration, business development, billing and fees, marketing, social media practices and much more. The Small Practice Management Certificate helps attorneys bridge the gap between lawyering and successfully operating their own practice in the legal marketplace.
