Organizational Development (Communication Management)

Ready to take on organizational change and improve performance? The organizational development program prepares you to better facilitate communication between and among leadership and stakeholders, all in the interests of a more effective organization. Learn the history, challenges and successes of organizational development, as well as the different models and techniques used to cultivate a productive organizational culture. Whether working in a corporate setting or on behalf of a nonprofit organization, you will benefit from learning models of change and the impact of each model.

As you assess the various models of organizational development, you'll build your own philosophy that can be applied across a range of settings. You can earn your MA in communication management with a concentration in organizational development entirely online or in the evenings on campus through the University of Denver's University College. Beyond the coursework dedicated to organizational development, you can also choose electives from other communication areas, including learning and development, organizational communication and alternative dispute resolution.
