Be part of the rapidly evolving world of wireless networks and services by pursuing courses in the telecommunications technology program. You'll study wireless telecommunications networks and learn how to navigate the explosion of wireless data traffic from smartphones, tablets, laptops and beyond. You'll tap into the various perspectives of the wireless telecom industry, including standards, carriers, technology and business. Through hands-on instruction, you will analyze and design network solutions, evaluate network security and create strategic plans to manage global telecommunications projects.

Along with developing your knowledge of industry technology and practices, you also may gain practical knowledge of contemporary standards and protocols and learn about next-generation technologies. You can earn your MS in information and communications technology with a concentration in telecommunications technology entirely online or in the evenings on campus through the University of Denver's University College. Beyond the coursework dedicated to telecommunications, you also can choose electives from other IT areas, including security, technology management and programming.
