Pioneer eRA


The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs is pleased to announce the roll out of the Pioneer eRA (InfoEd) Proposal Development (PD) module. The Proposal Development module is a significant step forward for the University in improving the Proposal submission process. This module offers:
- Electronic Proposal Review and Acceptance Form (No more paper forms!)
- Electronic Approval Routing to approvers and ORSP
- Ability to collaborate with multiple people on development
- Access to personnel information based on security
- Electronic budget development
- System to system interface submission to Federal systems
NSM & RSECS- There will be a six-week training period commencing on September 29, 2020 with a go-live date of November 9, 2020.

KIHA/CAHSS/UCOL/CCESL/Korbel/LAW/IAALS/DCB/Iliff/OTL/CEAL – There will be a six-week training period commencing on November 2, 2020 with a go-live date of December 21, 2020.

**During the six-week training period, ORSP personnel will be available for individual training upon appointment. Please reach out to your Project Administrator to schedule an appointment. Additionally, ORSP will be offering open Q&A sessions via zoom every Friday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. **

After the go-live date, it is expected that all proposals will be submitted through the Proposal Development module. Please make sure to attend trainings so you will be well prepared for the go-live date.

Go to Pioneerweb portal, navigate through Employee tab, under Administrative Processes click on Research & Sponsored Programs. In this section, we have links to resource documents to assist you in learning how to use the system.
