Payment Options

Parking permits are available to a number of different student, employee and community groups who may want to use them. Below, you'll find information on how to pay for your parking permit.

  • Commuter & Resident Students

    Commuter and resident students purchasing annual permits online are required to submit charges through their fall tuition no later than mid-August of the academic year. Quarterly students and those students missing the cut-off date for tuition purchasing may purchase parking permits with a credit card through the online purchasing process, or with cash or check in person at the Parking Office during regular business hours. Official tuition cut-off dates are posted on the "When are Permits Sold" page.

  • Faculty & Staff

    Benefitted Employees

    Benefitted Faculty and Staff must purchase parking permits through the monthly payroll deductions process. Approved exceptions may submit payment via cash, check or credit card in person at the Parking Office during business hours. Annual permit purchases may be prorated after September, dividing the remaining balance by billing cycles left in the permit season.

    Non-benefitted Employees

    Non-benefitted Staff may purchase permits parking permits with a credit card through the online purchasing process, or with cash or check in-person at the Parking Office during regular business hours.

  • Law Students

    Law students purchasing annual permits online are required to submit charges through their fall tuition no later than mid-July of the academic year. Semester students and those students missing the cut-off date for tuition purchasing may purchase parking permits with a credit card through the online purchasing process, or with cash or check in-person at the Parking Office during regular business hours.

  • Adjuncts

    Adjunct permits are only available to employees approved through the Human Resources office. If you are a benefitted or non-benefitted employee or student who also teaches as an adjunct, you do not qualify for an adjunct permit.

    The University of Denver Policy Manual on Allowable Business Expenditures (Policy Number 2.30.011) states adjunct permits may not be paid for using department funds. Adjuncts may purchase parking permits online through the online purchasing process or you may also purchase Adjunct permits in person at the Parking Office during regular business hours.

  • Ricks Center Parents

    Ricks Center parents may purchase parking permits with a credit card through the online purchasing process, or with cash or check in-person at the Parking Office during regular business hours.

  • Recreation Program Members

    Ritchie Center recreation program members including Coors Fitness Center, Learn to Swim, Competitive Swimming, Learn Gymnastics, Competitive Gymnastics, Learn to Play Hockey, Pioneer Basketball, Youth Hockey or Adult Sports receive a Recreation parking permit as part of their membership package.

    To obtain a permit create a Parking and Mobility Guest account and complete the permit purchasing process; noting the payment screen will reflect a "no charge."

    Ritchie Center Recreation members should receive their parking permits via USPS within 3-5 business days of application and membership confirmation.
