Phi Beta Kappa

Welcome

CONGRA-DU-LATIONS!

CongraDUlations (sic) to all our new members initiated virtually the evening of 11 June! Event program and video will be added to our Events page; and we'll be mailing membership certificates and new member handbooks to provided addresses later this summer.

(Newly elected members not able to participate today can check our Membership webpage FAQ on how you can still be initiated into membership.)

And kudos to all our graduating members, and to everyone on the near-completion of an extra challenging academic year!

Service opportunities

Share and build your skills, while supporting the Chapter! We're seeking members to serve in one or more ways this year:

  • on the Committee on Members in Course, which reviews records and recommends undergrads for membership (busiest in April)
  • on the Honorary Members Committee, which recommends worthy faculty members based on their scholarship (busiest in April)
  • as our social media coordinator --we'd love a (student?!) member to take lead on documenting and sharing events and opportunities through our social media presence.

For more information or with interest, email phibetakappa@du.edu

New to DU, but not to PBK?

Welcome! Members elected at other institutions are members of the DU chapter; and we'd love to let you know about our events and opportunities. Follow us on social media; and email us your name, and initiating institution and year.
