Excellence in Professional Education

In the state of Colorado, there are about 100,000 licensed professionals who require continuing education for their careers. The Center for Professional Development (CPD) at the University of Denver (DU) was established to deliver high-quality, accredited programs that meet the needs of these professionals, as well as to identify and deliver opportunities for skills development and career exploration for business professionals. As a novel collaboration of DU's Graduate School of Social Work, Morgridge College of EducationGraduate School of Professional Psychology and University College, CPD draws upon DU's rich reputation and core values to deliver high-quality, accessible and affordable professional development to the Denver community.

Our programs are:

  1. Interprofessional: Our classes are comprised of educators, mental health providers, health care professionals, criminal justice professionals and more.
  2. Credentialed: Our programs are accredited by DU, the American Psychological Association, National Association of Social Work, the Colorado Supreme Court and the Colorado Department of Education.
  3. Built-to-Suit: Take a single course or a series. Earn a certificate, CEU or graduate credit. We accommodate your professional needs.

We invite you to explore how CPD can help your practice, your business, your career and your quality of life!
