CPD-0245 – Leveraging Generational Differences (CPD-0245_LEVGEN)

Leveraging Generational Differences: From Boomers to Millennials to Generation Z

Each generation brings essential perspectives to the workforce, often informed by age, societal norms, and technology. In this workshop led by executive coach and trainer Maureen Breeze, explore management strategies to effectively leverage these varying perspectives and ensure that differences don’t cause unnecessary challenges. Begin by identifying differences that exist between each generation and discussing how age, societal norms, and technology work together to fuel these differences. Follow up with a group activity that will examine common friction points experienced between generations, and then explore effective management strategies for leveraging generational differences. Utilizing workplace case studies, consider systems and methods to address professional expectations, accountability, communication, feedback, and other dynamics that promote collaboration and productive work environments. Whether managing Boomers, Millennials, Generation X or Z, gain valuable skills for bridging generational divides.
