CRISPR: A Revolutionary New Gene Editing Tool

Researchers recently identified a novel mechanism that can be used to manipulate and edit DNA in any organism, including humans. Join Christopher Phiel , assistant professor of Integrative Biology at the University of Colorado Denver, to discover how the technology, called CRISPR, is revolutionizing biology, from the study and potential treatment of genetic disorders, to use in preventing the transmission of disease by mosquitos and other organisms, to the creation of crops resistant to disease.
