Financial Aid

The Ricks community would not be the same without you! We know that private school tuition can be a stretch for some families, and we are committed to making our program affordable for qualified and deserving students from all backgrounds through need-based financial aid.

Providing financial support for our students is one of the goals in our strategic plan; it is also one of the DU's strategic initiatives in DU Impact 2025.

  • Our robust financial aid program ensures accessibility to a Ricks Center education for nearly 35% percent of our families annually.
  • Not only are we committed to providing financial aid, we are strongly invested in helping to raise funds for financial aid as you may have seen this year at our annual Gala
  • We believe financial aid will help us build more diverse classrooms by bringing together bright, eager students from all backgrounds to create a stronger learning environment for everyone.

Financial aid at Ricks Center is granted on the basis of demonstrated financial need.  Applying for financial aid does not affect one’s chances for admission at Ricks Center.  Admissions decisions are first made without regard to financial status. Financial assistance is available in several forms, including reduced tuition and alternative payment schedules designed to distribute tuition installments throughout the year.

We work with an independent financial aid vendor, Schools & Student Services (SSS). Award decisions are based solely on need and are guided by the information provided in the PFS form, tax returns and the Estimated Family Contribution analysis provided by SSS.

Our Financial Aid Committee makes financial award decisions prior to mailing contracts to families. Both/all parents and guardians must submit financial data to SSS by the deadline to be considered for aid.
