Tuition and Financial Aid
Ricks Center for Gifted Children is dedicated to serving gifted children, regardless of socio-economic need. Tuition rates vary by program level. Applicants are considered for admission on a need basis using a blind review process; once accepted, families can apply for financial aid.
A 10% deposit is due upon acceptance. Remaining tuition may be paid in one, three or eight installments. Financial assistance is need-based, and available on a limited basis.
Extended care - Kids Club - is available for preschoolers through eighth graders. Fees are associated with this service.
Ricks Center for Gifted Children at the University of Denver is committed to offering families an opportunity to apply for financial assistance. All aid is granted on the basis of financial need. Offering financial assistance enables Ricks Center to serve a diverse socio-economic student body and assures that the needs of gifted children are met regardless of financial need.
Admissions decisions are first made without regard to financial status. Requests for aid are considered after an invitation to enroll has been extended. Financial assistance is available in several forms, including reduced tuition and alternative payment schedules designed to distribute tuition installments throughout the year.
