Preschool– 2nd grade camps will be play-based with a focus on learning and fun.  Each weekly theme will be paired with a different book.   Campers will enjoy themes including Space Explorers, Treasure Hunters, A Bug's Life, Kitchen Chemistry, and more.

The NEW 3rd – 8th grade summer programming is centered around science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). Campers will enjoy themes including Rocket Science, The Great Escape, Young Entrepreneurs, Mixed Media Art, Coding w/ Kids, Play-Well Legos, and much more.

Program Information

  • Preschool and Prekindergarten camps include breakfast and afternoon snack (special dietary options available)Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday
  • Morning Extended Day: 7:30 am to 8:30 am for $40 for the week
  • Afternoon Extended Day:  3:30 pm to 6:00 pm for $75 for the week
  • Students enrolled at Ricks Center for the 2019 – 2020 school year are eligible for financial aid equivalent to their tuition aid.  *Financial aid cannot be applied to programs run through outside vendors
  • General Health Appraisals are required for any camper in preschool or prekindergarten. Immunization records are required for all students attending summer programming.

Registration

All campers must register online through RecTrac

Before you can register for Summer at Ricks, you must complete the Summer at Ricks pre-registration page for your child(prerequisite). The Summer at Ricks pre-registration is a $0 fee registration that allows you to enter your child's required medical, authorized release, emergency contact and acknowledgment of risk information for 2019 Summer at Ricks.

The final tuition balance, including morning extended day and afternoon extended day, is due by May 1st. If we have not received payment prior to May 1st we will charge the balance to the card on file. Full payments ONLY after April 30th.

If your student is enrolled for 2019 – 2020 school year at Ricks and is eligible for financial aid you will need to complete registration with the Summer Programs Manager Maggie Wright.

Registration for each camp will close a week before and no refunds will be given after June 1st. Full payments only after April 30th.

Registration for Coding with Kids must take place through their website.

If your family received Denver Preschool Program (DPP) funding for the 2018 – 2019 school, you can apply your tuition credit toward camp fees. You will need to complete registration with the Summer Programs Manager Maggie Wright.
