MSW and PhD Application Information
Denver campus msw program
Most GSSW students earn their MSW degrees through our Denver Campus MSW program, which offers a choice of eight concentrations and a wide variety of educational options including three academic certificate programs, the opportunity to take courses at other units on the DU campus and several interdisciplinary dual degrees.
To receive priority consideration for financial aid, applicants to our Denver Campus MSW program must submit their completed applications by Jan. 15, 2015. However, we are still accepting applications for 2015 entry and will continue to do so until our class is full.
four corners MSW program
The Four Corners MSW Program is designed to increase the availability of social work resources and services in the area where the borders of Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico and Utah meet. Our office and classrooms are located in Durango, Colorado, so Four Corners residents can earn an MSW degree from the University of Denver in, or near, their home communities.The program offers a weekend schedule of Friday afternoon and Saturday classes to accommodate the needs of working adults.
Applications will be accepted until May 1, 2015, or until the class is full, for the next cohort of advanced standing students who will begin the program this summer. Admission priority is given to residents of the Four Corners area.
western colorado msw program
The Western Colorado MSW Program is designed to increase the availability of social work resources and services in rural and mountain communities located in western Colorado, including Eagle, Garfield, Grand, Gunnison, Pitkin, Mesa, Montrose and Summit Counties. Our offices and classrooms are located in Glenwood Springs, so Western Colorado residents can earn an MSW degree from the University of Denver in, or near, their home communities.The program offers a weekend schedule of Friday afternoon and Saturday classes to accommodate the needs of working adults.
Applications will be accepted until June 1, 2015, or until the class is full, for the next cohort of two-year students who will begin the program in September, 2015. Admission priority is given to residents of the Western Colorado area.
GSSW's PhD Program is one of the oldest in the nation. The GSSW Office of Admission must receive your completed application by Jan. 15, 2015 for you to be considered for entrance into the program in fall quarter 2015. However, for best admission and financial aid consideration, we ask that you submit your PhD application by Dec. 15, 2014. After this date, we will accept applications until our class is full.

Nearly all GSSW students receive some type of financial aid, and more than 95 percent receive scholarships, grants or stipends. We'll work with you to find the best combination of aid available to you.
