ENGL 2707- 4 credits

Dates: August 19-24, 2013
Days: Monday - Saturday
Time: 10:30 am - 5:00 pm
Instructor: Maik Nwosu

Description: The novel has never been a coherent genre, but especially since the 1960s its features, in some practitioners, have begun to resemble history, or anthropology, poetry, science writing, or all of these. Focusing on the novel and the short story, the course surveys contemporary books or texts - including related narrative films. The course will include readings from Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
