Favorite Quote: "You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars." – Max Ehrmann

Hi, I'm Rosie! I grew up in Connecticut and went to Brandeis University for my undergraduate degree. I triple majored and love the challenge of balancing a variety of work and subjects at one time. I recently moved to Denver to attend DU and am always curious about finding new restaurants to try out! I enjoy being a Student Success Coach because of the opportunity to work with enthusiastic and ambitious students and help them develop skills for academic and personal success. When I'm not working or studying, I can be found reading, cooking soup, working out, and once in a while sleeping! My favorite self-care strategies are reading and journaling nightly.

CliftonStrengths Top 5 Themes: Relator, Developer, Individualization, Responsibility, Discipline

Favorite Quote: "We need to remember what's important in life: friends, waffles, and work. Or waffles, friends, work. Doesn't matter, but work is third." -Leslie Knope & "Look how far we've come." -The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy

I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and received my BA in Psychology with a minor in Human Resources from Greenville University. My main career goal is to use animals to help people on their path of holistic well-being. As a Student Success Coach, a highlight for me is helping students discover their strengths and reach their goals. I love connecting with students and hearing about goals that are important to them. I love drinking tea and baking for friends and family, as well as organizing and preserving old family photos. I practice self-care by eating a balanced diet of healthy and comfort foods and keeping in touch with family and friends at home. Putting on a good song to dance out my stress always helps, and I try to watch something funny at least once a day.

CliftonStrengths Top 5 Themes: Relator, Intellection, Input, Learner, Individualization

Favorite Quote: "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." - Aristotle

I am a native of Upstate New York who loves skiing, plants, reading and cats. I received my Bachelor of Social Work from West Virginia University. I then worked as a Family Education Specialist and Crisis Center Counselor before deciding to switch career paths. My career goal is to be a part of large, systemic change in K-12 education by working to eliminate disparities faced by minoritized groups and destigmatize mental health. To cope with the stress that comes with being a student, I practice self-care by exercising, spending time outdoors, keeping a morning routine and eating well. My favorite part about being a Student Success Coach is watching my students grow in their confidence. It brings me so much happiness to guide them through the changes they are making and see their successes! I love to see students learn to believe in themselves and their abilities.

Hi, I'm Dan! I grew up mostly in Maryland, but have spent time in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Hawaii. I completed undergrad at Colorado College with a degree in History. The liberal arts education gave me opportunities to explore a variety of types of work, which included personal coaching as well as working at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. It was at the Lab that I found an interest in cyber-attacks, and I am now pursuing a MS in Cybersecurity at the Ritchie School of E&CS. I understand the challenges of learning complicated, unfamiliar material - all while maintaining relationships and keeping your body & mind healthy. I look forward to helping you in your educational journey!
