Event Planning Guide

CrimsonConnect Event Registration

CrimsonConnect is the comprehensive resource that connects University of Denver Undergraduate Registered Student Organizations (RSOs). This website houses all of the required documents for student organization planning, tracking and finances. As a student leader, it is essential to familiarize yourself with CrimsonConnect.

CrimsonConnect offers lots of tools for managing your organization, event planning, and much more.

Find OR Start An Organization

  • Login to CrimsonConnect
  • Navigate to the Group Menu at the top of the page and click the "+All Groups" button to see what groups already exist on campus
  • You can search the group database or use the blue banner at the top of the page to start a new Undergraduate Organization if one you're looking for doesn't exist yet.


All on-campus and off-campus events must be registered through CrimsonConnect.

  1. Log into your organization’s portal in CrimsonConnect.
  2. Click on Events.
  3. Click on Create an Event.
  4. Provide as much information as possible in the form.
  5. Set who you’d like to see your event under “Who can see this?”
  6. Submit!

Creating your event in CrimsonConnect will set it into an approval workflow to help make sure you have everything you need for a successful event.

It will also put your event on the CrimsonConnect Master Calendar as soon as it’s fully approved. This will increase your event’s visibility on the University of Denver campus.
