Discoveries Orientation

welcome to du!

Welcome to the University of Denver!

As you embark upon your time at DU, it's important that you have all of the tools and resources to succeed in college. Discoveries Orientation is your chance to learn about all that DU has to offer to ensure you feel supported, connected, and engaged. During orientation, you will meet fellow students, learn about the DU values and traditions, connect with campus resources, and ease into your time at DU.

In each of the tabs of this website, you'll find helpful information to assist you in your transition to DU. Should you have any questions along the way, feel free to reach out to our staff at [email protected].

Questions: parents, family and support systems

Parents, families, and support systems with questions can refer our the Parents & Family page to explore our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's).

If you would like to know what resources are available for you as a support system for a student, please contact Amber Jaynes, Assistant Director of Parent & Family Engagement ([email protected], 303-871-3008) or email [email protected]

Programs during Orientation will take place in various locations across campus. If you need accommodations due to a disability, please contact The Disability Services Program (DSP) at 303-871-2278 to discuss arrangements.
