Discoveries Orientation

welcome to du!

Welcome to the University of Denver!

As you embark upon your time at DU, it's important that you have all of the tools and resources to succeed in college. Discoveries Orientation is your chance to learn about all that DU has to offer to ensure you feel supported, connected, and engaged. During orientation, you will meet fellow students, learn about the DU values and traditions, connect with campus resources, and ease into your time at DU.

In each of the tabs of this website, you'll find helpful information to assist you in your transition to DU. Should you have any questions along the way, feel free to reach out to our staff at [email protected].

One Book, ONe DU

Please join us in the selection process for upcoming One Book titles! We are seeking nominations for future selections that:

1. Model intellectual inquiry and rigor for our incoming students;
2. Invite individuals to view themselves as part of a broader community;
3. Provide space for DU to grapple with the challenges that face our campus, community, and beyond, and define our values along the way.

Please submit nominations by clicking on the image above, and feel free to visit the ONE BOOK, ONE DU website for more information regarding the One Book, One DU program. We can't wait to see what selections are put forward.
