The deadline for submissions was May 1st.

The Crimson & Gold Award

Students completing their senior year, student organizations, as well as faculty or staff members who have been at DU for five years or more, are eligible to be nominated for the Crimson & Gold Award (formerly the Pioneer Award). This is one of the University of Denver's most prestigious awards and is given annually to one faculty member, one staff member, and students who best exemplify the unification of the deep Crimson, representative of a bold, purposeful, vision for a global future and the striking Gold that signifies a unique, innovative perspective that transforms the University and Denver community.

It is the highest honor given to undergraduate students. The Crimson & Gold Award honors individuals or organizations for their continued efforts during their time at DU rather than just over the past year. Recipients of the Crimson & Gold Award demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership, community service, campus involvement, strong character, and pride in the University.

Nominations are now closed.

Departmental Awards

Awards are given by a number of departments across campus to recognize and celebrate the achievements of students, faculty and staff at DU. Recipients of Departmental Awards will be recognized as part of a "spotlight display" during the Crimson & Gold Awards Reception. In order to have departmental award recipients recognized as part of the spotlight display, departments must submit a notification form for each award to the Office of Student Engagement.
