DU After Dark

ABOUT DU AFTER DARK

The University of Denver's Health and Counseling Center (HCC) and the Office of Student Engagement are proud to support student-led late-night, substance-free events that build community among DU students.

Through the DU After Dark initiative, teams of DU students are invited to apply for funding to support their proposed late-night, substance-free events. Teams selected for funding will work with staff from the Department of Health Promotion within HCC or the Office of Student Engagement to implement and evaluate their event.

DU After Dark is supported by funds from the Girouard Endowment.

APPLY FOR DU AFTER DARK FUNDING

Funding Requirements 
To be considered for DU After Dark funding, proposed events must meet the following requirements:

-Open to all DU students
-Maintain an alcohol and drug-free environment
-End at 8:30 pm or later


Events that meet the above requirements AND one or more of following criteria will receive priority consideration for funding:

-Free of charge for DU students to attend
-Take place on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday
-End later than 8:30 pm
-Demonstrate a commitment to sustainability
