February: Parent & Family Weekend

Parent & Family Weekend will be February 16th & 17th!

Registration is now closed for our scheduled activities, but we have many other things to do in the Denver area and on campus. See our suggestions for Popular Denver Attractions, On Campus Events, and Local Restaurants.

June: Commencement

September: Orientation

Transitioning into college is one of the most exciting times of your student's life. It can be both thrilling and challenging. During Parent and Family Orientation, several presentations and resources are available to help families learn about academic policies and requirements, and how to support their student's academic, physical, and emotional health. Here are some of the presentations that took place during previous years:

October: Homecoming

Parents and families, alumni, current students, and DU community members are invited to connect and celebrate Homecoming & Family Weekend October 20th & 21st, 2017.

Events in 2016 included Book Chat at the Book Stack, Chopp Talk, Hockey, Pio-Palooza, Taste of DU, and a Parent Panel on Studying Abroad. We are developing a schedule of events that are free for parents and families which will be published soon.
