Agreement Review

The University receives research funding from the United States federal government in the form of grants, as well as from private corporations. These funds typically come with contractual agreements that ensure compliance with all policies and regulations stipulated by the funding agency and the University.

Our office conducts legal review of the agreements listed below. All legal review is subject to final approval from the Office of General Counsel.

Agreements reach our office in one of two ways. First, the inventor may directly email the agreement to our office for review. Second, the inventor's Project Administrator in our Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) may forward the agreement to our office. Our office, the inventor, and ORSP communicate with one another to finalize the terms of each agreement applicable to the inventor's research program.

For questions or agreement review request forms, please reach out to the office.
