Live on campus meditation sessions

On Site In Person 20 Minute Guided Meditation with Kara

Mindful breathing and meditation sessions with Kara allow you to take a few moments to check in, breathe and connect. No experience is necessary and all DU community members are welcome.

Mondays 12:30pm - 12:50pm

Wednesdays 7:30am - 7:50am

Thursdays 12:30pm - 12:50pm and 4:30pm - 4:50pm 

WHAT IS MINDFULNESS?  

A mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.  

More simply put - paying attention in a particular way (Jon Kabat-Zinn's definition).
