Global Initiatives

The Institute for Human-Animal Connection (IHAC) joins human-animal interaction causes around the world. Global initiatives include relationships with community partners with shared vision and goals and partnership in the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work's international service learning courses and internships.

global initiative participation

  • Student-led advocacy at the Denver Ivory Crush in November 2013, which was a joint anti-poaching initiative between the International Fund for Animal Welfare and the World Wildlife Fund
  • Advancing public knowledge through global agendas such as the One Health initiative
  • Partnering with global organizations that are involved with topics surrounding the human-animal bond, such as the Making the Link Project in Romania
