What work experience do you have? After college, I moved to NYC where I worked in Operations at Morgan Stanley for 6 years. I'm currently employed at Oppenheimer Funds, working in the Digital Strategy group within Marketing. My team creates and develops the firm's websites, apps, etc. Basically, we are responsible for the firm's online presence and how the various digital properties support the business.

Why did you choose the Josef Korbel School? My company has an office in Denver and I was keen to keep my job while in school, which prompted me to check out schools in the area. Luckily for me, Korbel met all my grad school requirements (practicum-focus, small classes, human rights curriculum, Human Trafficking Center) and boasted Condi Rice as an alum. I was smitten.

What are your career goals? Secretary of State.

So far, how has the Josef Korbel School prepared you for your career? I was recently introduced to a sampling of potential jobs between here and the Department of State. Having this exposure to what is available to someone with my future degree has already proved invaluable in helping me to cater my curriculum and focus my efforts while at Korbel.
